At Johns Hopkins International, we believe that being proactive about taking care of your health is very important. We hope that by reviewing our website you will discover how the Europe Division and Johns Hopkins International can be of service to you and your family. We look forward to assisting you in taking care of your good health!
The Europe Division is staffed by a friendly and professional team of patient coordinators and interpreters. Fluent in the major languages of Europe, we are here to ensure that your medical experience at Johns Hopkins is beyond your expectations. Some of our services include:
There are three reasons why we believe our physicians are among the world's finest:
- They actively participate in medical research, which is quickly transferred from the laboratory to the patient's bedside to benefit you.
- They have vast experience in performing complex procedures and surgeries, which leads to more successful outcomes, fewer complications and a shorter hospital stay.
- They teach the next generation of physicians and therefore are familiar with the latest technologies, procedures and treatments.
If you speak English, you may contact us at telephone 1-443-287-2480. If you speak Spanish, please call us at 1-410-614-3061, Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (U.S. Eastern Standard Time). Otherwise, you can write to us via fax number 1-410-502-7397 or e-mail us at europe@jhmi.edu in your language of preference.
Baltimore-Washington International (BWI), Washington-Dulles (IAD), and John F. Kennedy (JFK) are the three closest international ports of entry to the United States.
British Airways has direct flights to BWI via London Heathrow Airport. Most major European airlines fly to IAD directly or via connecting flights from most European cities. These airports have United States customs clearance capabilities if flown into directly from Europe. Reaching BWI from JFK requires a connecting flight to Baltimore after clearing U.S. customs.
If you prefer, we can arrange ground transfer to your accommodations in Baltimore via chauffeured limousine at your request. Your Johns Hopkins International representative or your travel agent can help you find the option that best meets your needs.
