Train Service
Baltimore Penn Station
Located less than 5 minutes by car from Johns Hopkins, Baltimore's main railway station is served by Amtrak, which operates trains to Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Washington, New York, and other U.S. cities. Washington Union Station
Amtrak service to Baltimore, New York and beyond, and points south and west. Easily accessible via Washington's Metro subway system from downtown Washington and the northern Washington suburbs.
Taxi Service
Taxi service is easily obtained at any of the downtown Baltimore hotels. Taxis in Baltimore run on a meter system. The one-way fare between the Inner Harbor and Johns Hopkins Hospital should not exceed $10.
Subway
The Baltimore Metro subway system runs between the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and Owings Mills northwest of downtown Baltimore, with stops in Little Italy (Shot Tower), downtown Baltimore, and Camden Yards, where it connects to the MARC train and the Light Rail system.
Light Rail
The Light Rail System runs between BWI Airport and the community of Hunt Valley north of Baltimore. Baltimore stops include Camden Yards baseball stadium.
